1971 with publication of the Canadian Rockies Trail Guide, by Brian
Patton and Bart Robinson. Now in its eighth edition (2007), this title has
proved itself as a bestseller with over 240,000 copies having been sold.
Summerthought publishes around a dozen other books, including Parkways of the Canadian Rockies, 50 Walks
and Hikes in Banff National Park, Banff Springs The Story of a Hotel,
and Wildlife of the Canadian Rockies.
